Jaime Cecutti

Welcome!  Seeking change for yourself and your relationship is a powerful, often uncertain act of hope.  When feeling vulnerable, “will it work?” is an important question to ask of the help we might choose.  My name is Jaime.  For over 25 years I have been helping individuals, couples, families and communities build healthy relationships – secure attachment — with themselves, others and God.  As a trained Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT) guided by the skill and wisdom of Julie Menanno, my approach to coaching individuals and couples is research-based and proven highly effective in providing a clear roadmap for healing.

Standardized and repeatable healing processes have been a passion of mine since the start of my studies and career.  At Stanford University, I earned a degree in Human Biology with a concentration in Change and Wellbeing and then earned a Masters in Social Work at Columbia University.  My research, program development, practice, and published articles have centered around trauma, healing, and the building of resilience within multiple diverse populations.

Across my counseling career and as a community member with my husband and three children, I have journeyed with individuals and couples through:

Relationship exploration and marriage preparation, weddings, births, miscarriages, parental deaths, affairs and betrayals, separations, and reconciliations, 9/11 and the threat of future terrorism, the 2008 financial crash, career successes and failures, gaining of material things and great losses, state and country relocations, racial/ethnic/cultural/religious intermarriages and negotiations, church hurt and spiritual abuse, non-profit and for-profit start-up and ownership pressures, joys and heartbreaks in friendships and community, mental and physical illness, addictions, recovery, relapse, and the list goes on.

To walk these paths with an individual, couple, or family is to walk on holy ground.  You will find that I bring to the coaching session a strong sense of peace, hope and some occasional humor.  Please feel free to book a 15 minute call to ask any questions you might have or, if you feel ready, book a full session and we can get started on this transformative work.
